Leroy Jensen began business as a wire rope distributor and material lifting fabricator based in Crystal Lake, Illinois.  Throughout the 1970's, Lee Jensen expanded his product line to include the first lasers manufactured for commercial use, trench boxes and stone savers.  He was a pioneer in the field, introducing the self leveling laser to his customers.  As business continued to grow and his product line expanded, Lee Jensen Sales Co., Inc. was incorporated in 1978.

For over 30 years, Lee Jensen Sales Co., Inc. has served customers involved in environmental projects, site development, public works, large water projects, municipal projects, steel companies and more.  We provide sales, rentals and service for many of the products available from leading manufacturers in the construction industry.

In 2005, Lee Jensen Sales Co., Inc. opened a branch in New Lenox, Illinois to greater serve our customers in that region.

Today, Lee's pioneer spirit lives on under the direction of our President, Jim Jensen (his son), Vice President, Rick Metropulos, and Sales Manager, Todd Larsen (his grandson); all of whom have been with the company for more than 25 years.  They are continually searching for new products and services to offer to our valued customers. Lee Jensen Sales Co., Inc. remains a family business employing over 28 people.
